A real story for once

Thank you to Séraphine for the picture xx

Since the rise of social media we all feel the pressure to live our (online) life to the fullest. We want to share positive stories and picture perfect moments. Actually to the point that it doesn’t have to be real any more, it just has to be pretty. Preferably we don’t tell anyone how much effort and time we put in to that picture perfect moment.
Is it so wrong to build a positive life for yourself online?

My blog used to be my perfect bubble with only happy stories. But that was 5 years ago, and a lot of things have changed since then. From now on I would love to share those real stories with you. I want to create a dialogue on topics that I don’t have a black and white opinion about.

I don’t mind that Instagram remains the place for those perfect moments. I love to see beautiful picture that make me set my goals a bit higher when needed.
But I want to start being real in a world full of window dressing.

The first topic that I want to address is the urge of being busy all the time!
But that is for next week.

Have a lovely Sunday
Imke x
